You can even assign your own personal activation word.

Connected Music.

Listen to your favourite music wherever you are. Classical on the motorway, jazz during rush hour and pop when you’re cruising. With Connected Music, you can directly stream as many as 30 million songs without any limits, courtesy of BMW’s music partners Deezer and Napster, using the SIM card installed in your vehicle.

Connected Command.

Would you like to concentrate fully on the road ahead? Then hand over some of the control to your passengers. This is easy with Connected Command. Using the BMW Connected app, passengers with your authorization can access the entertainment and navigation systems. They can also adjust key features of the climate control system.

BMW Live Cockpit Professional.

The BMW Live Cockpit Professional with navigation function includes a high-quality display network consisting of a high-resolution 10.25" Control Display that can be operated by touch and a fully digital 12.3" instrument display. The BMW Operating System 7.0 can also be operated via the iDrive Controller.

BMW Gesture Control.

With BMW Gesture Control, certain functions can be operated by means of defined hand movements. For certain operations the system will for example recognise gestures such as 'swiping' or 'pointing' for accepting or rejecting an incoming call, or circular motions of the index finger to adjust volume.

BMW Operating System 7.0.

The innovative operating concept of the BMW Operating System 7.0 enables even easier operation of vehicle functions via e.g. gestures, speech, touch screen and iDrive control – quite intuitively. For this purpose, the functionality of the Controller has been upgraded. For example, all digital services such as apps can now be selected directly.

M Sport differential.

The M sport differential optimises traction and driving stability when changing lanes or accelerating out of a bend, when taking bends at high speeds or on different road surfaces. Traction is optimised with the help of an electronically operated device that reduces the difference in revolution speed between the rear wheels.

M Sport brake.

The M Sport brake has four-piston fixed callipers at the front and single-piston floating callipers at the rear in blue with the M designation and features large brake discs to ensure an outstanding braking performance.

Adaptive M suspension.

The 10 millimetre lowered Adaptive M suspension can be electrically adjusted at any time to suit the road and driving conditions. Drivers can also adjust the suspension characteristics via the Driving Experience Control to enable their preferred driving style at the time – from comfortable to extremely athletic with markedly agile handling.

Digital Key.

Why put your key in the ignition if you have your Android smartphone with you? The Digital Key allows you to lock and unlock your BMW and even start the engine without needing a physical key. It can be downloaded to your Android smartphone using the BMW Connected app and shared with family and friends. The term is one year.

BMW Laserlight.

In laser high-beam mode, the Adaptive BMW Laserlight illuminates a range of up to 530 m, nearly twice as far as that of conventional headlights. Better visibility in the dark significantly increases safety. Blue accents and the lettering "BMW Laser" in the headlight also underline the technological standards and the sportiness of the vehicle.

Acoustic glazing.

The acoustic glazing on the front side windows complements the standard acoustic glazing on the front windscreen and significantly reduces the level of noise for everyone inside the vehicle. It minimises noise created by the outside surroundings and flow of air, as well as by the engine, tyres and windscreen wipers. Mu…sic listeners and hands-free device users in particular will appreciate the difference this makes.

Ambient light.

Ambient light, including Ambient contour lighting in the front and rear doors, creates a relaxed, cosy lighting atmosphere in the interior. The six dimmable lighting designs also include a dynamic function in four applications. The Welcome Light Carpet illuminates the area in front of the vehicle doors when getting in and out.

The tonally outstanding Harman Kardon surround sound system features a 464 W digital amplifier, nine channels and 16 speakers. Its sophisticated sound perfectly fills the interior space. Vehicle-specific, speed-dependent equalising precisely compensates for any background driving noise.

Through-loading system.

The Through-loading system includes rear seat backrests that can be divided in a 40:20:40 ratio for the greatest possible flexibility. For example, two passengers can be seated comfortably in the rear, while long objects such as ski and snowboard bags can be transported at the same time. The two cupholders in the centre armrest are very practical.
