Vehicle concept
The innovative drive concept of the BMW 330e* comprises the new even more powerful BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine, the highly efficient eDrive electric motor and BMW EfficientDynamics technologies. Together they generate a system output of up to 215 kW/292 hp**. The result is more output, better acceleration and substantially lower fuel consumption. In figures: An impressive torque of 420 Nm with a combined fuel consumption from 1.7 l/100 km. The BMW 3 Series Sedan plug-in hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 km in 4.46.0 seconds and achieves a top speed of 230 km/h.
**135 kW (184 hp) combustion engine drive + up to 83 kW (113 hp) electric drive

Range and charging
Setting new destinations: with its purely electric range of up to xx km*, the BMW 330e* stands for pioneering mobility. The energy for this is stored in the high-voltage battery, which can be charged quickly and easily via a normal 230 V socket at home or with the BMW i Wallbox from the extensive 360° ELECTRIC product and service range. On the way, you have access to the wide network of ChargeNow charging stations.
* Expected to be available from 07/2019. Preliminary, not yet confirmed data, subject to changes.

Intelligent Energy Management
Intelligent energy management is one of the main pillars of the BMW eDrive concept. This system coordinates the interaction of all BMW drive components with the electric motor in order to combine the best possible efficiency with great driving dynamics, and to increase the electric range.
-
Drive modes
In eDrive drive, the drive modes HYBRID, ELECTRIC, and BATTERY CONTROL can be selected using specific control buttons. This makes it particularly easy to quickly adjust the plug-in hybrid to different driving situations. The start always takes place in HYBRID mode, which ensures the optimal interaction between a combustion engine and an electric motor.
-
Connectivity
Whether you need to know the battery charge level, the remaining range or the location of the nearest charging stations, the BMW Connected App allows you to call up the current consumption and efficiency values of your BMW 330e whenever you want. Using the remote functions, it is also possible to control the charging operation and measure the efficiency for every journey and, thanks to helpful tips, optimise it for a greater range. To provide a perfect climate, the temperature in the vehicle can be very conveniently preset via the iDrive Controller or the BMW Connected App.
-
XtraBoost
In the XtraBoost driving mode, the electric motor supports the combustion engine with added performance of up to 30 kW (41 hp). In this case the drive reacts more sensitively to the driver's acceleration commands. The clearly noticeable boost function provides superior engine power and thus creates a unique, particularly sporty driving experience.
Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

BMW 330i Sedan:
Fuel consumption in l/100 km (combined): 6.4
CO2 emissions in g/km (combined): 147BMW 330e Sedan:
Fuel Consumption: 2.2 l/100km
Electric Consumption: 15.4 kWh/100kmThe values of the vehicles labeled with (2) are preliminary.
The values of fuel consumptions, CO2 emissions and energy consumptions shown were determined according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version applicable at the time of type approval. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers optional equipment and the different size of wheels and tires available on the selected model.
The CO2 efficiency specifications are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the European Regulation in its current version applicable. The values shown are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle for the classification.
For further information about the official fuel consumption and the specific CO2 emission of new passenger cars can be taken out of the „handbook of fuel consumption, the CO2 emission and power consumption of new passenger cars“, which is available at all selling points and at https://www.dat.de/angebote/verlagsprodukte/leitfaden-kraftstoffverbrauch.html.
